"The oldest agency for Christian service within our congregation is certainly our Sunday School. In the recorded history of our church, we read that a Sunday School was begun in Grace Church immediately after the church's dedication....The year of 1937 was the first year that we had a Sunday School superintendent other than the pastor. Mr. Alvin Rigby was the first to serve in this capacity...Since his time other able men have followed in his footsteps. Teachers also have come and gone; but God's Word is continually taught without interruption." Grace's 25th Anniversary Booklet, 1956

Sunday School
Our Sunday School offers classes to students from 3 years - 6th grade using Arch Books and Bibles from Concordia Publishing House. Our 7th and 8th grade catechumens study a Bible History curriculum. Junior Bible Class is offered for post-confirmation students, and older high school & college students are encouraged to attend Adult Bible Class. Grace's Sunday School has a tradition of collecting little pennies to pay for big projects, and our current students are upholding that tradition as well. We are currently collecting pennies to help replenish the church's Building Maintenance Fund. |
Trustees
Our church trustees and members have graciously donated countless hours of their time to the restoration of the building, and we are grateful beyond words. The nursery and offices have been repaired and repainted, the fellowship hall has been refurbished, additional repair work has been done on the exterior, and our steeple has been repaired and restored. Please thank the trustees when you see them and keep them in your prayers that they may continue to be safe as they labor.
